Morning Notes
US Futures are slightly higher and European stocks are trading higher by nearly +1% after China reported October retail sales which came in at the highest number this year. Energy stocks are showing slight weakness as crude slips over -1% at a 2 week low. Asian stocks closed mixed.
Technicals
The SPY traded lower in yesterday’s session putting in another lower high for the week as we approach the 200 day moving average. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $207.19, followed by the low of Monday at $206.95 and finally the 200 day moving average at $206.40. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $208.60, followed by the high of Monday at $209.49, then $210.32 and descending resistance at $210.75.
