Morning Notes
US Futures are relatively flat this morning as markets await the results of today’s presidential election. European stocks are trading slightly lower after German industrial data for the month of September was the worst in 2 years. Asian stocks closed predominantly higher.
Technicals
The SPY gapped sharply higher to begin yesterday’s session and managed to maintain those gains and closed out on the highs. Support will lie at the recent support pivot at $212.50, followed by the low of yesterday’s range at $211.30, then $211.10, $210.24, $209.89, and the 200 day moving average at $208.28. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $213.19, followed by $213.93, the 100 day moving average at $214.44, and the 50 day moving average at $214.62.
