Morning Notes
US Futures are tracking higher this morning on optimism in quarterly earnings that will begin pouring in near the end of this week. European markets are trading slightly lower led by Spanish stocks ahead of a Parliament meeting later today. Asian stocks closed at the highest levels since 1996.
Technicals
The SPY tested the record highs throughout yesterday’s session, finding support at the lows of Friday’s range and further consolidating. Support will lie at the low of Monday’s range at $253.65, followed by $253.20, $252.56, $252.23, $251.29, the 20EMA at $250.99, then the recent pivot $250.15. Resistance will lie at the record highs of $254.70.
