US jobless claims reached a milestone not seen since 1969 even with the thousands of furloughed federal workers. The Labor Department announced Thursday morning that US jobless claims fell by 13,000 to 199,000 underlining just how strong the US job market is.
Unfortunately, futures are being weighed down by gloomy economic data out of Europe that revealed a slowing growth forecast. European Central Bank President Mario Draghi stated that the Eurozone economic outlook “have moved to the downside” citing growing global economic risks and uncertainties.
