Economic Calendar & Watch List
Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are lower in early trading. Markets are lower this morning on concern that the US and China are not as close to a deal as once thought. This combined with weak Non-Farm payroll data is pulling markets down. Also weighing on markets is export from data from China showing the slowest month for them in 3 years. Asian markets settled the session lower.
Technicals
The SPY dropped in yesterday’s session through the 20EMA and the 200SMA and consolidated around the 200SMA into the close. This morning we are looking to open below that support level. Support will first found at gap entry of $272.34, $270, the 100SMA at $267.65. Resistance first lies at the 200SMA at $274.83, followed by $275.5, the 20EMA at $275.94, then 281.2 and $286.6.
