Economic Calendar & Watch List
Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are mostly lower in early trading. Markets are under pressure over concern of the slowing global economy. This coupled with disappointing manufacturing data from Germany and an inversion in the US Treasury yield curve for the first time in 10 years is causing investors to pause. Asian markets settled the session lower.
Technicals
The SPY drifted in Friday’s session dropping through the $281.2 pivot and closing at the 20EMA at $279.45, the $275.5 pivot and the 200SMA at $275.26, then pivot low of $272.42, $270, and the 100SMA at $268.32. Resistance first lies at $281.2, $286.6 and $288.8
