Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are higher in early trading. Trade talks continue today in Washington between China and the US. Investors will be watching the March jobs report numbers that come out at 8:30 for insight into the strength or weakness of the labor market. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY consolidated at the recent highs in yesterday’s session on lighter than average volume. Support will first found at the $286.6 pivot, then the 20EMA at $282.04, the $281.2 pivot, the pivot and 200SMA at $275.50, then pivot low of $272.42, $270, and the 100SMA at $269.37. Resistance first lies at $288.8 and $289.45.
