Morning Notes
US Futures are higher and European shares are slightly lower in early trading. Earnings season kicks off today with banks starting to report earnings for the first quarter of 2019. DIS is higher following their investor day yesterday with the announcement of their new streaming service that starts in the fall of 2019. Asian markets settled the session mostly lower.
Technicals
The SPY continued to consolidate near the recent highs yet remained below the recent ascending resistance line. Support will first be found at $287, followed by the $286.6 pivot, the 20EMA at $284.47, $281.2, the pivot and 200SMA at $275.85, $275.50, $272.42, then the pivot and 100SMA at $270. Resistance first lies at $288.8, $289.45 and $293
