Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are slightly higher in early trading. Markets surged in yesterday’s session following reports that negotiations are to continue with China and the US on trade. Eyes remain on this wave of earnings that coming in. FB and MSFT report tonight shedding some light into the strength of the tech sector. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY exhibited strength in yesterday’s session pushing through its recent consolidation and up to the $293 resistance. Support will first be found at $289.4, then $288.8, the 20EMA at $287.53, $286.6, $281.2, and the 200SMA at $276.52. Resistance first lies at $293.2 and $294
