Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are lower in early trading. Markets have remained under pressure with tensions rising in the US and China trade talks. Pres. Trump stated that “China broke our deal” and that was why tariffs were to be raised on Friday. China has stated that they will take retaliatory measures if the tariffs take place. Asian markets settled the session lower.
Technicals
The SPY tested and failed to hold the $289.4 pivot area in yesterday’s session. Support will first be found at $287.1, $286.6, $281.2, and the 200SMA at $277.23. Resistance first lies at $289.4, followed by the 20EMA at $290.15, $293.2, and all time highs of $294.95
