Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are slightly lower in early trading. Investors will be watching the week ahead as Fed Chair Powell is set to speak to congress and looking to see if there will be a different tone coming from the Fed regarding near term rate changes following the strong Jobs report. Asian markets settled the session lower.
Technicals
The SPY consolidated near the new all time highs in Friday’s session following the 4th of July holiday. Support will first be found at $296.92, then the 20EMA at 292.36, the 100SMA at $285.42, $281.20 pivot, and the 200SMA at $277.56. Resistance will be time highs at $298.82
