Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are slightly lower in early trading. Remain under pressure following the spike in prices yesterday. This morning we find prices pulling back slightly from yesterday’s highs. The FOMC starts is rate meeting today and the meeting will be held tomorrow at 2 pm. Asian stocks settled the session mostly lower.
Technicals
The SPY was choppy in yesterday’s session and consolidated near the short term ascending support area. Support will first be found at $296.73, then the 20EMA at $295.75, $294.30, the 100SMA of 291.58, $288.44, then ascending support of $286.33. Resistance will be found at $302.46 and ascending resistance of $305.06
