Morning Notes
US Futures are slightly higher and European markets are slightly lower in early trading. Lower-level trade talks conclude today between the US and China and ahead of the top-level negotiations that will continue in Bejing in October. Asian stocks settled the session mostly higher.
Technicals
The SPY posted new highs and was not able to hold the level rejecting and fading to the ascending resistance line in yesterday’s session. Support will first be found at ascending support of $300.80, followed by the 20EMA at $297.12, $296.73, $294.30, the 100SMA of 291.82, $288.44, then ascending support of $286.66. Resistance will be found at ascending resistance at $301.20, $302.63 and ascending resistance of $305.16
