Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are lower in early trading. Markets remain under pressure following an announcement that Democrats have initiated an official impeachment probe of Pres. Trump yesterday. Also weighing on markets is a speech given by Pres. Trump before the UN where he criticized China’s trade practices. Asian stocks settled the session lower.
Technicals
The SPY was weak in yesterday’s session failing to hold the 20EMA and consolidating above the 50SMA. Support will first be found at $294.30, the 100SMA at 291.97, $288.44, then ascending support of $287.04. Resistance will be found at ascending resistance at $296.70, then the 20EMA at $297.19, then $302.20, $302.63 and ascending resistance of $305.20
