Economic Calendar & Watch List
Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Q3 earnings are in full swing this week following the kickoff with banks reporting last week. Investors are optimistic about trade as Vice Primer Liu He stated that China would work with the US to address trade concerns. However, this may be overshadowed by more troubles with Brexit as lawmakers are seeking a delay before the Oct. 31 deadline. Asian stocks settled the session higher.
Technicals
The SPY traded lower in Friday’s session and found support at the recent gap entry of $297. Support will first be found at the gap entry of $297, then the 20EMA at $295.79, gap entry at $295.57, then gap fill at $294.21, $293.85, the 100SMA of $293.63, the 200SMA at $286.24.
