Morning Notes
US Futures are slightly higher this morning along with European stocks after China released monthly manufacturing data that was better than expected and showed expansion at its best levels in over 2 years, giving a lift to global equities.
Technicals
The SPY struggled to maintain strength throughout yesterday’s session but managed to close just slightly back above the recent support pivot at $212.50. Support will lie at the recent support pivot at $212.50, followed by the low of yesterday at $212.36, then $211.71, $211.21, and $210.78. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday at $213.19, followed by $213.93, the 100 day moving average at $214.36, then $214.62, $214.98, and the 50 day moving average at $215.40.
