Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are slightly lower in early trading. Investors have taken a pause on this run-up in the markets as there is some concern that Pres. Trump may not remove the tariffs in place on China to move forward on the Phase 1 agreement. Asian stocks settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY continued to consolidate above the ascending support/ macro trend line in yesterday’s session. Support will first be found at ascending support of $306.70, followed by $304.50, ascending support of $303.20, $302.20s, the 20EMA at $301.42, $298.50, $296.97, gap entry and the 100SMA at $295.57, the 100SMA of $295.89, then gap fill at $294.21, $293.85, the 200SMA at $288.87. Resistance will be found at all-time highs of $308.
