Morning Notes
US futures are slightly higher along with European markets also trading higher by over 0.50%. Gains have since been paired after China reported data for July imports and exports that had fell short of expectations. Asian stocks closed mostly higher.
Technicals
The SPY tested the 200 day moving average on Friday and managed to close above, yet still in the red at $207.95. The first support level will be the 200 day moving average at $207.30 followed by the low of Friday’s range at $206.87. Overhead resistance lies at the high of Friday’s range at $208.34 followed by the 50 day moving average at $209.69.

AQXP: Aquinox Pharmaceuticals – Baker Brothers Advisors reported a 39.8% stake through open market transactions. Gapping up 70% with a 5.7M share float.
VLTC: Voltari Corp – The company filed a 10-Q which disclosed its intentions to exit the Mobile Ad Business and Focus on Real Estate with Carl Icahn behind it. Gapping up 31% with a 2.2M share float.
