Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are slightly lower in early trading. Markets are pulling in a little here on a disappointing industrial output growth report coming from China which confirms fears of economic slowdown while the trade war continues. Crude oil remains under pressure with the economic slowdown and tensions rising in the Middle East. Asian markets settled the session mostly lower.
Technicals
The SPY continued to consolidate around the $289.4 pivot area in yesterday’s session. Support will first be found with the 50SMA at $287.13, followed by the 20EMA at 285.12, the 100SMA at $281.58 ,$281.20 pivot, and the 200SMA at $277.26. Resistance first lies at $289.50 and all time highs at $294.95
