Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Investors will be watching bank earnings as the 3rd quarter reporting season begins. Investors remain cautious as trade talks wrapped up last week between China and the US and with stalled Brexit talks in Europe. Asian stocks settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY traded in a narrow range in yesterday’s session consolidating above the 20EMA on lighter than average volume. Support will first be found at the 20EMA at $294.40, then gap fill at $294.21, $293.85, the 100SMA of $292.92, the 200SMA at $285.23. Resistance will be found at $298.8, then $302.20, $302.63.
